Solana Music (“we,” “us,” operated by Based LTD) provides a music application at solanamusic.fun (the “Service”) where users purchase access to own and stream songs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect

• Account information — the email address you use to create your library.
• Payment information — when you buy credits, card payments are processed by our payment provider (Square). If you pay with crypto (USDC or SOL), the transaction settles on the Solana blockchain. We do not collect or store your full card number; we receive only a confirmation of payment and limited details (e.g., last four digits, payment status).
• Purchase & ownership records — the credits you buy and the songs you own (each owned copy is minted as a compressed NFT to your wallet), kept so we can deliver the Service.
• Wallet & on-chain data — public Solana wallet addresses and blockchain transactions associated with the Service. An embedded wallet may be created for you automatically from your email through our wallet provider (Privy); you can export it at any time. Blockchain data is public and permanent by nature.
• Usage & device data — basic technical information (such as IP address, browser, and interactions) used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

How We Use Information

• To provide the Service — create your account, process purchases, grant song ownership, and let you stream what you own.
• To process payments and prevent fraud (via our payment provider).
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers & Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service, including:

• Square — card payment processing and settlement.
• Privy — embedded wallet provisioning and key management.
• Google Firebase — authentication, database, and storage.
• Arweave (via Irys) — permanent, decentralized storage of audio and artwork.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• The Solana blockchain — on-chain transactions are publicly visible.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

Data Retention & Security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your Choices & Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the GDPR or CCPA). Note that information already recorded on the public blockchain cannot be changed or removed.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
